The new owners of Hots Deli in Dothan, AL originally came to us at Shift Designs for a new menu design. After talking with us and discussing their needs, what they got was a new identity. The decision to change was made with the realisation that Dothan needed a “Healthier Alternative,” to the many fast food options here in town. Along with a brand new logo, we created a fun, appetizing design for the Hots Deli To-Go Menus. This project is a 3.5 x 8.5 inch double gate fold brochure style menu. The menu serves as a to go menu as well as an in store way for their patrons to see the food items close up, as well as menu choices. Heard Magnet School contacted Shift Designs for their yearly Star Reader promotion. This year the would like to let the students keep the that they post in their yard to let everyone know what a great reader they are at school. So Heard Magnet wanted something a little nicer, but still keep cost reasonable. We hear at Shift Designs always do our best to work with each client to help them get to their goal as cost effectively as possible. So instead of the normal 18″ by 24″ yard sign, we brought the sign down to 12″ by 18″ and went with a full color print. We were really pleased with the color turn out on these signs. Fortner Construction contacted Shift Designs wanting to update the look of their business without completely overhauling all of the existing graphics they had on fleet vehicles. Fortner Construction is a local business in Dothan Alabama that handles everything from small remodels, to brand new housing construction. Their existing business card was on a thinner card stock on plain white paper(you can find the original card below). Along with a new “Shift” design, we went with a thicker 16 point card stock. To give the card a little extra kick, we also printed the business cards with a spot uv protectant over just the business name.
